Each room is an invitation to immerse yourself in the creativity of the exhibited artists. Whether you’re in the lounges, by the swimming pool, or in the comfort of your suite, charm intertwines with a collection of carefully hand-picked works of art. These artworks live and evolve with each exhibition (4 to 5 a year), creating a unique atmosphere, conducive to escape.
From passion to realization
It all began in 2002, with the discovery and purchase of a magnificent historic mansion in the heart of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Driven by a shared passion for art and travel, we envisioned our concept of a boutique hotel and art gallery in Provence.
To bring our vision to life and restore this 17th-century residence while honoring its soul and character, we collaborated with talented local artisans, dedicated to preserving heritage and traditions.
The restoration took three years. and in 2005 our dream took shape. Beyond providing accommodations, we created a space where every work of art, every object, tells a story, a journey, a discovery. These objects, like the exhibited works, are continually renewed and reflect our passion for art and craftsmanship from around the world.

With its old stones, vaulted ceilings, and terracotta tiles (…), the soul of this 17th-century mansion resides in its historical details, carefully preserved to maintain the authenticity of the place.
Like a dialogue between past and present, contemporary artworks and ancient architecture blend harmoniously, to offer our guests an exceptional stay.
A couple, a vision
Behind this art gallery hotel project in Provence, are two lovers : Marie and Frédéric.
A synthesis of our passions, La Maison sur la Sorgue stems from our enthusiasm for art, travel, and gastronomy.
Our travels around the world, particularly in Myanmar (Burma) have allowed us to meet numerous artists, creators, and artisans. Our concept of an art gallery hotel reflects these encounters. with every detail, from the exhibited works to the decorative objects, telling a part of our story and discoveries.

A true haven of peace in the heart of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, it hosts a multi-centenary plane tree in his center, along with a swimming pool that transforms into a terrace according to your desires, delighting sports enthusiasts with its counter-current swimming option.
